The Jewish Memorial.
When looking for somewhere to practice photography, be it creative or technical, it doesn’t get much starker than at the Jewish Memorial in the center of Berlin.
Not only is the site bathed in dreadful symbolism, but the uncompromising blandness of the grey concrete blocks offer almost nothing in the way of inspiration, and yet every shot has to be respectful.
It’s one of my favourite locations, because it is so very difficult.
